LCTS provides multiple Community Bus Services covering the area of Midlothian.
The Community Buses are open to the General Public and holders of a National Concessionary Card, or Young Scot Card, are welcome to use them for transportation.
Our Community Bus routes run every Monday, excluding the Easter and May Day bank holidays. The Community Bus also does not run from 24 December to 2 January inclusive, or on 3 January and/or 4 January whenever either of these dates is a local public holiday.

No booking is required — simply turn up at the designated pick-up point for your chosen route. However, we recommend arriving a few minutes early as timings are approximate.
Yes, the Community Bus is wheelchair accessible and can accommodate pushchairs. Please let the driver know if you need assistance boarding.
Well-behaved pets are welcome, but they must be kept on a lead or in a suitable carrier. Assistance dogs are welcome at all times.
Passengers are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all times — abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour toward passengers or staff will not be tolerated. Our team has the right to a safe and secure work environment. We reserve the right to refuse service.
